Now Hiring Therapist to join our team
Family Wellbeing Associates is a different kind of clinic, and we are looking for a different kind of therapist to join our team. We are a collaborative team-based model, each member of this team works together to provide the best and most comprehensive mental health treatment for the impact of trauma, difficulties adjusting to life changes, mood and personality disorders, ADHD, and a variety of other challenges individuals are seeking help for.
Family Wellbeing Associates will be a great fit for motivated, team-oriented professionals looking to join a supportive team where relationship building, skill developments, and lifelong learning are valued and supported. Each member of our team is expected to show up and be authentic and present with other team-members, clients, and community members.
We are currently looking to welcome additional therapists to our team. Therapists have a variety of scheduling options including working from remote locations as well as in the physical office. We offer pay that is commensurate with experience and stage of licensing and value all levels of experience in therapists regardless of where they are in their professional journey.
We will provide
- Software for electronic notes, scheduling, and team collaboration
- Flexible scheduling to allow a healthy work/life balance and burn-out prevention
- Referrals include a consultation to ensure a good fit between you and the clients you work with
- Billing support includes billing client’s insurance, insurance verification, and all claims submission
- Regularly scheduled team meetings to ensure each team member is knowledgeable about what is going on throughout the clinic, provide ongoing skill and professional development, ethics and collaborative case consultations
- Supervision hours toward licensure
- Employee health insurance and benefits
- Yearly training stipend
- Competitive income split dependent on licensure level
- 55/45 pay split for temporary licensed clinicians
- 70/30 pay split for full time, fully licensed clinicians
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mariage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from a program accredited with that profession’s accrediting body
- Iowa License (or in the process of becoming licensed) at LMSW, LISW, LMFT, tLMFT, tLMHC, or LMHC level. This license must be maintained as a condition of employment in a clinical position.
- A commitment to team engagements and support. We can’t do this work alone so being an engaged and authentic member of the team is essential.

- Training in a specific evidence-based modality is preferred but not required.
