Now Hiring Therapist to join our team
Family Wellbeing is a different kind of clinic, and we are looking for a different kind of therapist to join our team. We use a collaborative, trauma-informed, strength-based and client centered approach to provide the best and most comprehensive service for the patients seen in our clinic.
This job will be a great fit for a motivated, team-oriented therapist who is looking to join a supportive team where we all continue to focus on relationship building, skill development and lifelong learning. We expect each member of the team to show up and be authentic and present with team members, clients, and community members.
This role can accommodate a variety of types of schedules and is based on client and clinician need and availability which may include schedule flexibility. Pay is commensurate with experience.
We will provide
- Software for electronic notes, scheduling, and team collaboration.
- Flexible scheduling to meet therapists’ needs as well as client needs.
- Referrals including a consultation to ensure a good fit for you and the clients you work with.
- Billing support includes insurance billing, verification of insurance, and claims submission.
- Regularly scheduled team meetings to ensure each person is knowledgeable about what is going on clinic wide in addition to ongoing skill and professional development, ethics, and collaborative case consultations.
- Weekly supervision towards licensure provided by LISW.
- W-2 employee status is offered to ensure employee health insurance and benefits.
- Training stipend after 6 months.
Requirements
- A commitment to team engagement and support. We can’t do this work alone so being an active member of the team is essential.
- Respect for the clients, their individual experience, and the challenges and strengths they inherently have.
- Experience in providing trauma-informed care and a thorough understanding of the impact of trauma on multiple areas of functioning for the person and the system they live in.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Engagement in community outreach and education.
- Knowledge or training in a preferred modality such as EMDR, IFS, CBT, Play therapy, or other evidence based approach.
- Candidate must be licensed, or in the process of becoming licensed to practice in the state of Iowa.
