Our team

Jennifer Theurer, LISW is an experienced clinical social worker who has specialized in the use of multiple types of evidence based therapy techniques to provide treatment to children, adolescents, teenagers, and their families since 2010. Jennifer has worked with children and families in schools, out-patient clinics, and hospital settings and is dedicated to providing trauma informed care in a holistic approach. Jennifer founded Family Wellbeing Associates in 2018 to fulfill her vision of a clinic where mental health clinicians would be able to provide services in a trauma sensitive manner, be encouraged to develop and engage in community programs, and work as part of a team within the clinic as well as with other healthcare providers. Jennifer believed that providing mental health services to clients in a positive, trauma sensitive, collaborative, and empowering culture would result in an increase in clinician and client satisfaction  which would ultimately lead to better outcomes for the child, their families, and the community.
